My very first poster presentation on my research at PWTC 1996

(Oil & Fat International Conference 2002)This was the most memorable one, I got into a debate with that white haired westerner on the subject of iodine value in fat. Many participants joined in, some on my side, some on his.I didn't budge till the end. After it was over, he met me and continued his arguments, soon others came and joined too. Some on my side, some on his. One businessman even offered to use his lab to test my theory. Later I knew that westerner as KG Berger, a senior consultant on Palm Fat for the MOPB. He had been writing articles on the subject  since BEFORE I was born. But until today, I am sure and can prove that I am right.

At UKM booth PWTC 2001. Both Indonesians, Susi and Bapak Soeherman are two of my best friends. They were hard working people.Susi  was doing her Masters in Biochemistry (later PhD in UPM) and Herman in food science. They later married and I bet in the future, we will witness their offsprings making names in the Indonesian scientist circles.
