Off Road Adventure

Even though I only own a Kembara now, but it's enough to go through rough trails on every weekends all over Selangor looking for ala Camel Adventure thrills. Once in a while my 2 brother-in-laws brought back jeeps from their construction sites...and I will be behind the wheel, intimidating Melaka city drivers. When the Women Sport & Fitness Assoc launched a 4x4 course in 2002, I enjoyed every minutes of it.

We were divided into 40 pairs. My partner was Susilawati, a Sony staff, a Japanese Varsity graduate and a wife with such a supporting hubby like mine.

The 45 degree slope.

There were about 80 women participants. We had to drive through 8 obstacles. Some, like muddy and hilly trails were quite easy. But these pictures, taken by my hubby showed the challenging parts.

I reversed the vehicle into the river. Susi took the heavy cable at one end and me at the other. Hooked it at the vehicles.

A heavy cable and strong current, for a moment we end up doing tug o war. Each trying to hook the cable at our vehicles.
