When I did consultancy work big companies, they have their own marketing department. But how do I market my own product in campus?

The Army Intelligence Branch, Ministry of Defence produces monthly military bulletin, which I was a regular contributor of articles since 1997. I usually wrote on the ROTU activities. Every year, it would have an appreciation dinner, where all writers would be receiving gifts and certificates from the Director of Intelligence. So I was quite familiar with them.

When its Psychological Warfare department produced the LEFTENAN ADNAN movie, I asked for charity screenings in my campus for one week. Those who bought the ticket can purchase my Omars Deli food products at a special price. The MINDEF got its audience, my ROTU got its money and I got to sell my products.

Selling the movie tickets which can be used to purchase my products at the nearby kiosk. My products with Omar Deli used 100% premium New Zealand meat.

On the premier screening, we invited all the varsity officials and VIP from Ministry of Defence. Each received a door gift of my food products which had just won the second place at the Asia Food Conference 2001 at the Phillipines, 2 weeks prior to this screening.
