Reserve Officer Training Unit (ROTU)

(1991-1993) Each year, a competition between companies. 3 companies, 360 cadets. Only the best 16, regardless of sex were selected to undergo one month of intensive training at the Port Dickson shooting range with the best instructors around. Our mission ; to ensure that UKM beat 7 other Universities to win the  'Champion Trophy' during the annual shooting competition. 30 days, thousands of ammo. Me? I was one of the 16 in each of my every cadet years.

My disadvantage of being a left handed was that the ejected hot catridges of the M16 flying across my face. But that didn't stop me from winning one competition after another.
